Humble Bundle 3/2- something new slipped in
Uh, hey, guys. I might have missed an update or two, but when I went to get the game (again) through the humble bundle 3/2 pack, I noticed something about the setup. Namely that it was named ccsetup25-1.exe. Now, I thought "Hmm, this might just be a mistake." Then I noticed that campaign mode was unlocked. I'm not certain it's accurate to say that 'build 25 is out! oneoneone' but something new has indeed slipped in. I'll post more once I go into the game proper. In the meantime, if you bought HB3, you can download this version from the HB page. edit1: Ok, it seems like orbital terrain scanning is in, as is budgeting gold to individual missions. The terrain scanning isn't brand-new, but from a mod released a while back (iirc). edit2: Fog of war, at least underground, seems to be implemented. At the end of both players' turns, combat occurs. The winner receives the territory. If only one player has attacked a given site, it's a victory by default. At the start of each day, the Midas seems to give a certain amount of gold per territory to each player. AI campaign/metagame behavior doesn't seem to be implemented yet, unless I ♥♥♥♥ up a setting somewhere. edit3: Once you own a territory, you can allocate funds to it to build a base, just as you allocate funds to explore. edit4: Base-building: It seems like you can now move/remove bunker modules after placing them. You can also choose to place objects in front of/behind other objects. Placing them behind makes them appear only where the module doesn't have BG or FG; placing them in front works as it always has. In addition, your command brain must have a clear path to orbit, which seems to be vertical and blocked by thick concrete walls.

I'd post the download link, but this version doesn't have registration built in, so that'd be kinda un-kosher of me. I *think* you can still buy the HIB3 and recieve the games for HIB2 if you buy it for above the average purchase price, but don't quote me on that.

So yeah, everyone (myself included) can stop bitching about the lack of progress. I've never had any kind of modding/lua skill, so I can't say how that framework might have changed, but it seems like enough has changed to put the release date as 'soon', and not in Valve time.

You dont have to buy HIB3 if you already have HIB2. That way you can still get B25 from HIB2.

So now we go with bundle #3 and will you please move your ass and do something so that we don't look like a bunch of liars?
And so the build 25 came out. The result of 5 days of coding i guess. Heh. This, my friends, is what we call a troll. He's big, he's green, and he's so full of ♥♥♥♥ that it's starting to spew out his mouth and onto our screens. I'm politely asking you to the shut the ♥♥♥♥ up because you just got shut down. Hes kinda right though, if you look at the SVN Bot updates, you'll notice that there was radio silence for a long time and its only recently that updates are coming out often.

Hooray! I knew that buying the bundle for seemingly boring games paid off. 6 extra games! For 1$. I feel cheap and dirty. Like a pimp. Feels good dawg.

It's the real deal. This appears to be the latest build.
Go into the Base.rte, Actors, and then AI, and you'll find the three sets of AI scripts. One for people, one for dropships, and one for rockets.
Also, I think the physics in this build may be a little wonky, but maybe it was just me.
