Post Mouse control is extremely awkward and nearly unusable.
It's nearly impossible to aim and navigate the terrain when using Keyb + Mouse controls, due to the fact that the mouse and movement keys often conflict with each other, causing you to turn when you don't want to etc. I think it should be a bit more like the game Soldat, which allows you to move in one direction and face another.

Discuss.

Yes, the mouse aiming is very weird and annoying. I haven't tried Soldat yet, but the mouse aiming it has sounds good.

you can move one way and aim the other using mouse aiming.... but thats the only benefit up against all the minuses of it

Uh.. this is possible in build 12.

edit: I see what you mean now. It's possible when walking on the ground but not when using the jetpack.

This is what I meant, I should have clarified that in my original post.

It's a test build, specifically meant to get opinions such as these in order to help fix the game to be the best it can be when build 12 is officially released. So don't get all mad or disappointed about it.

And due to a certain other forum I frequent, putting "Discuss" at the end of a post is vulgar and grounds for immediate lockage. But that's just over there.

Over at OBL putting "discuss" at the end would be merely a rediculously hopeful statement, as most threads go off-topic within 2 pages, and there are a few every week threadjacked by the second post.

At KoL, you have someone putting "discuss" at the end of the topic, then you get 2 flamers that attract more flamers (they are attracted by the smell of the hunt, you see) that eventually force a mod to say "Move it to the Ring of Flame, people" and delete all of their posts, after which there's a topic in the RoF flaming the poor helpless newb and the lonely little topic that actually has a fair discussion going, but the newb's too scared to ever show his/her/its face again.

But we're getting off-topic, now, aren't we?

Electric cables made out of sewn together chicken fingers. (discuss)

Yeah, I found the mouse control to be a little problematic. The "aim" has a little slowdown, and I prefer the keyboard. Gotta love that country fried clicking sound.

I put "Discuss" at the end because I wanted people to share their opinions and, well.. discuss!

(plus I couldn't think of anything else to say)

That's kind of the point of an internet forum.
