Ok im trying to make a new mod but it wont work because the file doesnt end in .rte. When i try to make it an rte it says:

Cannot Rename: Access is denied
Make sure the disk is not full or write protected and the file is not currently in use

I dont have a disk in and not running anything.
Help?

You probably have a code file running inside that.

Like you are editing you mods code in notepad.

If you aren't then use the Ctrl+Alt+Delete menu.

If you don't know how to use that then just restart computer.

I think Disk = Harddrive.

zalo is right, it's referring to your Hard Disk Drive.

Basically, if you have anything that's inside the folder running or being referred to (like having CC open and playing with the mod) it won't work.

Close any running programs that might make use of it and try again.
