Trying to have actors fall from the sky without using a craft, wasn't sure if thats in the core code or if it was moddable. If anyone knows I'd appreciate it. thanks.

Not possible. You can have all craft instantly explode and release their cargo, but, it'd make delivering your own guys a fair bit harder.

what you could do is mod Para troopers. and have a button where you can release the parachute at any time.

Empyreals right. Trust me man, from experience, if it were that easy, someone would've done it all ready.

Maybe in a future build, where we can further maniuplate scripted actions.

Possibly have the paratrooper as a craft that spawns containing the desired actor by default, and have it "explode" (but not releasing any particles) when doors are opened, causing the cargo to fall out. Would that be possible?
Sometimes it pays to think outside the box with these things.
