Youtube Video: Direct Brain control of a humanoid robot
Direct Brain Control of a Humanoid Robot
Wow. Maybe his brain isn't in a jar, but... well, you know.
Why do I have the sudden urge to buy a green clone...?

Nope, I don't think so. I just checked, and it's not on the front page. He posted an old Dr. Who episode a while back, though. Maybe you're thinking of that?

Oh, yeah. He did. Whoops. Anyway, his video seems to be a different one than mine, and that was in December of last year. Ok, my fault. Deserves a repost, though.

I've been watching this technology develop for a while, and I must say it is awesome. This may be the future of war, human controled robot combatants.

looks easy to satge, but that is awesome. cc may become a reality sooner than we think guys. *sinister music*. i dunno bout you, but being a brian in a jar wouldnt be that bad, especially for us as we are computer geeks and therefore we will be really good at hacking 'the world'. we will be like master-peoples! wedgie this! *delete*.

Something about being a brain in a jar is just wrong, when that does happen, and when humans are in jars, we may be able to control robots and clones, but that just gets rid of our humanity, the one thing that actaully makes us human is the fact we can die, and then we become brains in jars, we would become invincible. And something abot that seems wrong, eventually, we would just get tired of the world, and tired of everything. We would learn everything as we would have all the time in the universe to learn, but then what would we do?
Though that is off topic, I want one of these, as long as my brain stays in my body.

And don't forget that they have brain implants now for controlling prostheses. However, it burns out after a year or two, so they're still working on it. But being able to just get an implant and then be able to control a robotic arm could be used for robots.
It's not too far away, either. We may not have good two legged walking robots, but we can use wheels.
It's a double edged sword, like everything else. They could be peacekeepers or soldiers. Servants, nurses, and attendant in situations where a human could be contaminated or catch something. Or they could be untrackable murderers.
And humankind will almost always choose the bad side.

Your opponent's wetmare has turned into mush!!
Edit: Oh, the quote from 3 solid didn't work.
