I have lots of these, but my latest one was this.

My rocket was landing to deliver an actor equipped with four of my favorite weapons, when suddenly it was shot by a skellie with a blunderbuss and crashed. However, I had opened the hatch by chance right before it shot, and the clone fell on his back. One foot in front of the skeleton, with his head facing towards it. Thinking quickly, I grabbed a near blunderbuss, aimed toward the skeleton, and fired. This caused the skeleton to promptly explode into millions of bone fragments. And the cool part was that the way he was on the ground, he was shooting over his back.

Lolz, Owensworth isn't the only action hero...

the rocket landed half on on the platform, and half off the side. It flipped around the side, stayed there long enough for me to think "that's awesome hit the screenshotbutton now", then plummeted to its unfortunate doom.

Cortex Command does seem to lend itself to cool moments... Now if I could just keep perpetual screen capture...

Anyhow, some of my best moments involve my personal favorite tactic, smooshing things with your areal craft. In one of the funnier moments, I was sitting with my clone when the enemy dropship comes along, and, as per routine, I blew out an engine and sent it into a spin... Of course there was a slight flaw involving said spin bouncing over, smashing into the ceiling of my base and turning my Blue Clone into a Red Paste spread across the area, then bouncing a bit more and blocking off the ground route into the base... Maybe you had to be there...

I think we did. Once I jumped off Apocolype Towers with Kelas, and when I hit the ground, I went THROUGH THE GROUND, THROUGH THE CELING, and popped out the other side. I fell gently into the mining tube, but not before HAXXORING the miner. All in one jump.

Basically, I forgot how high the mountain on BigAss was and jumped off.


I didn't notice the ground until I was only a few pixels away, so

Lolz. Nice.

I tripped on a skeleton that had had it arms and legs shot off. Then I turned round and shot it in the head, because I was trying to get to the brain room before the AI did.

Jumped off Apocalypse Towers with a Crobo Mk2 armed with a PA-60 and an AW-90, slammed into the wall, sending me spiraling at incredible speeds. Shot a rocket with the PA on the way down, he slams through the wall, obliterating an entire platoon of guys in my skyscraper, (the cheap bastard lands around 5 guys on my tower and leads them to one of the middle floors, stopping me from reinforcing myself [we really cranked up the concrete strength]) AND I hit a dropship of his that was about to unload five guys above the mining tunnel.

Heheh. A drop ship was flying away, while my Crobo Platoon was firing. The got an engine, and the ENTIRE FRIGGIN' SHIP FELL ON ABOUT 20000 OZ. OF FRIGGIN' GOLD!
