Okay, because i know many of the people that Enjoy the Glory of Cortex, i have decided that im going to make a couple of Threads that related solely to the New Ideas. I'm sure that the Game Creators have many ideas of their own, but the people really know what would make this Game Leet beyond Compare.

So plz, only Post on this thread about things that pertain ONLY TO THE GAMEPLAY OF CORTEX COMMAND. THIS MEANS NO VEHICLE, WEAPON, TRANSPORT, ITEM, OR MAP IDEAS, STRICTLY THINGS THAT RELATE TO WHAT YOU CAN ORDER YOUR GUYS TO DO, OR WHAT THEY CAN/WILL DO ON THEIR OWN

Idea: Healing/Repair

It would be cool if you had a way to heal someone, whether it be by making a "doctor" unit or a healing/Repair Zone that you could buy and add on to your base, that way that 100 dollar robot doesn't have to be a waste because your rocket fell on it, cleaving off an arm and making it so it has no purpose in life but to rust...

As i suggested on one of the Threads in the dev Log, a way to drag and drop build things like machine guns emplacements because as we all know, things can't fall through solid sheets of concrete without damaging them massively.

yeah, i want a defense turret. thatd be cool and very usefull. vbut, if it falls from the sky, it gets hurt. unless you set the impact damge thingy accordingly.

Yea, but then its either exposed from one side, will end up having a rocket land on it, or will end up mowing your own guys to pieces if its outside, my point is to make a way of getting it inside without damaging the structure of your base to bad.

Maybe something like it has two modes, one it can move around in, but no attack, the other, it can attack in but no positional movement, only movement related to aiming. Maybe two boosters for when it is in the movement mode, if its not too hard to code in, because already this is sounding like a pain to code.

Idea: Body armor that way your are not limited to a shield that makes it so you can't use two hand weapons.

I think there should be somesorta menu (binded on a certain button) where all the actors/units/ships/whatchamacallits are listed and you could switch onto them manually, instead of just swapping through Q & E.

This would not only save time (imo), but also avoid mistakes like suddenly selecting a rocket thats on middle-air, but you have no idea whats happening so you end up crashing, and losing money :(

Data has already said turrets will come with the scene editor. You'll position them before you start the game.

And, he also says crouching will probably be implemented. Check the Official section.

Yea, i failed to see where he said he would do that in the official, but i do remember seeing him say that somewhere else, or at least cannons, but my point is if he is going to put them in, then he needs a way to make is so they aren't stuck on the outside where the comp is gonna land a rocket on it.

I have an idea.

Idea: Kill Bounty
Each time you kill you will get a funds boounty.
Rewards: (examples) Killed a Skeleton with a Headshot = 15OZ
- Destroyed Drop Ships Engines plus Hull = 32OZ

I think it has already been spoken by me or someone else before but I just think it would make the game more rewarding.

i like aquagenerals idea but it would have to give minimal returns because of how easy it is to do that stuff

Certain guns don't have an ammo limit inside a clip but overheat instead, complete with a smokish gib (mainly applicable to turrets and stuff like diggers)
