It will not, if anchored properly. I've had actors permanently stuck before, without anchoring.

But to hold you all off, here's a link for my first mod ever, a rocket for space/air combat.

Data, you could make for the new build AI for dropships when you press the switch actor button for the dropships and make machine guns and set it to attack everybody and and and eveything!
