 If the game has to output less, it only makes sense for it to get better framerate.

   | Well. I personally don't play in full screen, but my full screen mode is a lot faster than windowed mode, and it can run much more particles at a time without laggin than my windowed mode.
 If you have lots of stuff going on windows, many start up programs on system tray and stuff, then I think that will affect the windowed gameplay, since your windows has to update them while you play.
  With a lot of RAM this won't probarly effect ( I think. ) 
 BTW - My explorer.exe won't get messed up even if I switch / play on windowed mode.

 And the "hold down print screen to make pics to turn into a gif" just freezes my computer.
 And my brothers computer which is better than mine.
 And my dad's, which is 5X as good a my bro's.

   | It doesn't freeze, it just pauses for a long time. Oh, and for some reason I think the game actually runs slower for me in windowed mode.
