Orbital Cannonz?
I was just thinking about this when viewing Polodiablo's defense-building mod. I know lots of people had "Aerial" and "Orbital" cannons in previous builds, but apparently they are not functioning now? At least they aren't for me.
Anyway, my thoughts were that instead of having an actor that you select and use, you have something along the lines of kinetic bombardment(http//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/kinetic_bombardment) and having objects of solid mass just fall from the sky (without any engines or thrusters to speak of).
Doable? Need clarification?

Ummm yeah, im making an anvil... Just like a drop pod, it will have no engines and will weight alot, so you just drop it on a base and pwn it...
Easy actualy...

My "aerial cannon" works with the latest build ?? maybe somethings wrong with your game....
but in general, yea if you want something alond these lines either use my thing which is a ship which fires (anything) downward at increadible speed or just buy something increadibly heavy and crash it.

It loads, but dropping items only drops them, they don't detonate or do anything besides wait for pickup.

It doesn't detonate timed releasers. Impact releasers such as the Acid Canister pwn with it though.

I did it with an old airstrike mod for an earlier build, but since you couldn't specify the spawn point, it only had 4 different places it could target. It worked just fine.
