And as for keypresses getting mixed up, go into your controller options configure player 1, and 2, as whatever, then set 3 and 4 as an unused method.

Also, don't let any 2 players both use the keyboard or mouse for anything. IE player 1 using arrow keys and mouse to move and shoot, but then player 2 using aswd to move and a 2nd mouse for aiming and shooting.
I didn't think Unused was a valid option.
I just set them to Gamepad 2 and Gamepad 3.
I never have 3 gamepads, so it works out fine.

And there's no libraries on Windows (or anywhere that I know of) for dual mouses and CC isn't making use of any external libraries that could, so obviously no dual mouses.
No, that statement (except for that thing in the parentheses) is not my guess at it. It's truth.

meh, I figured A) if you can have dual screens dual mouses would also make sense, and B), you can have an extra mouse over a network but I forgot what its called, its for admins to help with errors without having to be at the computer.

BUt regardless of that, oh well, my bad

A) Dual screens actually have Windows implementation. The fact that it also works for Cortex Command is indirect. Dual mouses do not. B) Over the network, yes. But that requires a second computer.

yeah, after re-installing B22 after a settings.ini wipe (making sure I back up this time), single player controls also work with hjkl keys, and 2 player controls don't work at all (untill I made a weird custom layout).

If someone could PM me their settings.ini with working default controls that'd be great, but remember to get rid of your key, I only want your controls!

interesting.....for awhile there, i was thinking that the root of the problem was CC's incompatibility with the logitech Dual action (aka ps3 style) controllers.....but someone with an xbox controller has problems as well....

now im really confused :(

I have the same problem as listed here. I would like to know if someone has solved it?

As i red, a lot of people misunderstood the problem so im gona write it once more.

2 player Skirmish mode, player 1 has the mouse+keyboard setting, player 2 has gamepad (Xbox 360 with dual analog controls), when player 1 sharp aims with his mouse and player 2 moves, player 1 gets out of sharp aim as if he would have moved. Well this is annoying as im forced to use a different control scheme for player 1 when playing 2 player...

Post Re: Control malfunction
I seem to be getting this too, player 1 with Keyboard and mouse and player two using the Logitech Dual Action controler, I guess it could be related. I'll have a look around for solutions other than different controlls.
even if both players use the keyboard only player 1 is afected. (Correction: onlu keyboard and mouse is affected)

However the aim is only knocked off when player 2 Starts moving, not during.

Edit:
In settings every action has a keymap, even though they are the gamepad controlls and there are keymaps like 39 for sharp aim which isn't even used, where is the code to knock players out of sharp aim?

Edit 2:
Mouse and keyboard is the only thing affected, does pressing a key or button reset the mouse position because it's definatley a problem with the mouse.
How else could the mouses position be reset?
