Post how do i install a new map?
it seems very confusing to me
i don't know what to do with the map to get it working
please help

Are there not instructions? usually it overwrites Base.rte or you have to mess around in Base.rte/Index.ini and remove the .rte from PromGrounds.rte.

The maps usually have nice, clean directions in a readme or someplace... some of the scenes require you to replace the scene folder and the scenes.ini that are inside the base folder, while others are add-ons where all you have to do is take out a few lines in some of the index files... so look for directions. And follow them.

i keep trying to install the map tomato and i can't seem to get it working
the readme says to replace the files but i don't know what files to replace

copy the base.rte from the tomato folder, paste that in the main cortex command folder, when it says "folder already exists, replace?" click "yes to all"

thats how i did it

i did what you said to do but
when it got to the loading screen it crashed

It is because the map you have put in is for a older version such as v0.9

On page 9 I think I posted a fixed version with VERY specific instructions in the readme. Download that one.
