But I heard that theyre making the campaign and the whole CC universe is going to get turned upside down. As Alenth said, its about factions (Ive heard there are 7 so far) and that there are 3 missions in the making (1 Tutorial ''mission'', and 2 actual assault missions... MAYBE.) And also I heard that it will be released in October 1st.

This is getting exciting... CC is not going to be the same.

Not released Oct. 1, I don't think, that's just when the IGF gets to review it.
With any luck, CC will win the twenty-thousand dollar grand prize.

With the campaign mode, I've heard that we'll be fighting against some large enemies.

They have been thinking about it and I think your ideas aren't very good. The first idea would make me feel like I'm playing Sonic the Hedgehog. The fourth idea sounds like it would be fun maybe once or twice but I don't see it being useful, and when you say multiplayer do you mean online? That wouldn't ever happen. Also gibbing is there for a reason (I think)... it's cooler then flinging around a rag doll green clone.

I think bosses would be good. Like a giant dropship but you can't reach the engines and it keeps dropping off skeletons.

Or a brain with shielding and lazor weapons that use the same power supply as the shield, so you have to shoot it while it shoots you.

And no cheesy boss music.

Factions-Do you mean like the color of the clones
IE (Green Clone = Green Faction/Blue Clone = Blue Faction)

Missions-Is it like missions with platforming involved or missions like "Defend The Brain for 2 Minutes" then "Level 1 Complete" "Level 2 Initiating"

No they said it was something like different races.

Ya know, skeletons are themselves a faction, robots will have a high tech faction of somekind and so on. Each of these factions have theyre own characteristics and specialties including advantages and weaknesses.

About the missions... meh I cant really say anything to that since I now very little about DRL's plans. I think the missions are seperate and maybe you might be able to select any mission you want once youve completed the game or the next mission. Thats my guess.
