Dead DS is not a big deal as you must receive free rockets to escape. And flying on the rocket loaded with tw actors while struggling with wind... excites.

You bring into account the weather which I don't think any scene really has done well.

You should ask TLB if you can borrow his rain effect from CoG and use it for a mission somehow.
Rain-fights are always more epic.

Damn this is a hard mission. Just to make it to the base I have to kill Dimitri. I though I was going to beat this when I looked away to get a quick drink of soda, when I look back my rocket is spinning out of control. Of course I died and had to restart.

I got them all into the rocket, but I lost control and crashed on the way up, and only Defred survived. To top that off, the ion blast then came down and smooshed him. I'm competing with my brother to see who can get them all out first.
This is such fun, I only wish the enemies kept charging even during the rocket phase.

What do you get if you succeed in fixing the drop ship? Its easier to dodge the particle cannon blasts with a rocket.

A constant wind is hard enough, but is it possible to have it waver between weak and strong wind, and change direction from left to right? that would make flying ALOT harder, and be more realistic.

No, you can't but if you managed to protect it and repair you can board and fly away. It's even easier if you have Dafred already onboard.

At the part where you lose the DS and start getting rockets, it becomes impossible. I can't get the rocket to land safely at all.

When I got the rocket and the Ion cannon was constantly firng, I flew into the field and burned all the clones with the thruster fire. The instant the Ion cannon paused, I dashed Dafred over to board the rocket and flew up, dodging cannon blasts the whole way.

This mission is easier if you get a sniper down from the mountain.
