				  Destroying emitters

Can emitters be made to gib off a rocket? As in, can you make a rocket in which you can shoot all four thrusters off individually? I know you can with dropships to a certain extent, but I'm undertaking a pretty massive project which would be made a lot better if this could be implemented. Any ideas?

It works on dropships because the emitter on the dropship is connected to the engine which in turn is connected to the dropship.
Once the engine is gibbed, the emitter is turned off.

I recall once I shot my friend's clone and he said that I must have gibbed his jetpack because he couldn't fly anymore. It was a regular, not a mod at all either, no edited code. I'm not sure if it's true but, then why would he lie?

Well if I can get it to work that'd be a bonus.

Make the jointstrenght very low and even negative if you want it to come off right away.
