WIP - Turtle Mech
VERY EARLY TEST (w/ Energy Gun) - http://youtube.com/watch?v=3qrDIe1x35MTurtle tank firing Rapid Cannon (Shoots lots and lots of shells very quickly, with small explosions) Though, one teensy tiny little prollum... It is in desperate need of new sprites. Anything would do, even a little glass dome on top with a blue clone inside, operating is appreciated. In fact, recommended. Any brave spriter out there willing to give it a go? ----------------------------------------------------------- EDIT: The Directions were a Little vague.
Anything that is BETTER than the current sprite will do. I'd appreciate it if it was done by an actual Decent Spriter.
Also Just the clone body, I'll put a normal blue or green clone head on the body (thats actually movable) depending on the body.
Also (P.S.), if you can please make the sprites of the legs touch the body that would be great. I can't make them touch the body by offsets since it would make walking a bit tough.
And I'll make it lighter if the sprite seems right. ---------------------------------------------- EDIT: I'd rather you didn't complain or whine on the current sprites simply because of the simple fact that I cannot sprite.
If you don't like it, make a new one.

Re: WIP - Turtle Mech
Man, seeing that sketch makes me wish you could just draw sprite art onto a computer... yeah, I know, drawing tablets. But those don't work out well for small sprites.

You could scan a sketch, import to a photo manipulation program (like Photoshop), clean up the lines, color and use effects like gradients, resize, clean the outline, and tweak for CC.

Re: WIP - Turtle Mech
Add this to the existing sprite, with the black stuff covered by dropship.

If its a combat mech why would you want your head outside the heavy armor with a giant "SNIPE ME" sign? does that not defeat the purpose of a heavily armored mech with massive firepower if you stick an obvious weak spot when you could just use a periscope, camera, or some sort of viewing slot to see out of?

Re: WIP - Turtle Mech
It's a bit heavier than I'd like. I like the gun however.

I learnt to mod, hence you can no longer claim you are better than me when I made the effort and you didn't.

Re: WIP - Turtle Mech
I know, that's 'cos Kelas is cool.
I meant that X can't keep claiming superiority over me for being a lazy sod, when he can't even be bothered to learn to mod.
