I hope in build 15 that there will be a way to put sharpness on all the materials for wieldable things so when they make contact with terrain/solid things it will cut them, that will make swords easily possible.

I it has something to do with the way the game handles the equiped weapon.
It just can't hit other MOS.
Almost like a muzzle flash but not really.
It's more like a foot or hand.

Right now equippable things can only make CONTACT with other MOs, not hit them, hopefully next build we will be introduced to melee weapons.
