I'm having trouble downloading mods off of these forums. I can easily download and unzip a mod folder and place it into my CC program file folder, but Cortex just doesnt want to boot up the new mods. Cortex is ignoring the new (.rte) folders and I can't figure out why. Is there some initiation process I need to do to the new folders???

It's really okay if you want to keep using build 13, but none of the current mods will work with it. Plain and simple.
We're 7 builds away from 13. A lot of stuff has changed since then.

It's just that I know that my Build 13 is certainly not new, I didn't know that the mods wouldn't work

Hmmm, I have a new dilema.

I copied one of my old mods (a HDFirearm) so that I can change it around ( in a new folder ) with out changing the original.

I start CC and I see both mods zoom bye ni the loading screen correctly.

Once I begin to play, I can't see the new (copied) mod in the BUY menu.

What can I do to fix this?

...From what I could read, you must have made it unbuyable. Check the code again for any missing values. Also, if you are adding in new variables [like updating it with the newer code] it may become unbuyable, and even broken. I would advise at least updating to B18 to do code. Remember, new mods don't work on old engines.

Download the newest available version.

Just make a new install with this build.

I also recommend B18 because its the newest version that doesn't need to be bought.
