Couple of questions regarding animation
Hello, I have two questions I wanted to ask:
1. As muzzle flashes can have multiple frames associated with them, does the game chose one of the images randomly to display at a time, or does it go through them one by one as the gun is fired? (Hard to tell in-game as the muzzle flashes last for a very, very short time)
2. Like a muzzle flash, weapons can have multiple sprites which are played when the gun is fired, and my question about this is nearly the same as the one above.
Thanks,
~MC
(By the way, sorry if this is the wrong forum/sub-forum)

Re: Couple of questions regarding animation
1.- The game shows the frames in order, one by one, although it's too fast to see normally. The frames also loop automatically.
2.- As far as I know, weapons can only have 2 "main" sprites. One is the base sprite and it's shown when the gun isn't being fired, and the other appears when and only when the gun is firing.
Hope that helped.

Like, I know for a gun with two flash sprites, I've gotten the same one twice in a row or more before. Just copy-paste the frames two times. Three times the frames three times visible.
