Re: Xenobiology [anyone good at recursion, take a look]
one problem I found is that the infant does not die when it pupates, but after pupating multiple times , however it worked fine, and I'm impressed (however the adults were not controllable... I may have done something when I "fixed" it). edit: and people say I can't mod, what proof do they have?

Or Griflee.
I was about to post an idea. But you fixed that with exactly the same thing I was about to say (only in smarter words) so...
Good luck?

Oh I have entirely seperate plans for the Pupa that don't involve the infant actually dying, that's okay, it was just for testing. I also may see if I can make them controllable, but that was never my purpose. They're supposed to be wild animals. Instead I plan to have a cloned/sterile version that has been retrofitted for combat use that would be controllable. Who knows.

Congrats, Djinn! Can't wait to see it in real, working-order.
So, does that mean, if you randomly spawn a dropship with an actor inside, any emitters on the actor do function?

Great! That's awesome dude, now make good stuff!
I think the 'tamed' versions should have like...
You know the Spartan rocket? How it shoots fire? Like that, but it's got a gun that shoots down, or bombs, full of bile!

It'll be tough to make weapons in the same way due to the way I've done this, but I'm sure I can figure something out. Worse comes to worst, I can make them eat fallen weapons and spit them out at high speed and kill people with their jaws.

"As an attempt for a potential military conversion, we attempted to modify a few key genetic components to improve oral acid generation and beak size and hardness. Somehow, the changes we made to its genome have created infertile results, though we're not sure of specifically why. (We theorize the increased acid may be interfering.) However, in a way this works to our advantage. Cloning is as easy or easier than raising young creatures, and this removes the aspect of mating and egg-laying from the military birds, which would be mostly only an annoyance. The only potential loss is that there will be no chance for mutation and no dispersion of traits, so a deadly disease could be completely fatal to a particular squad. Attention will be paid to varying squads' genomes to provide additional resistance to potential pathogens."Feel free to use that or modify it as you like, it's all yours. If you like, you could call the military adaptation a joint project with Omni Corp. Any way is good, though. The theory was melee attack via beak, and droppable acid bombs from the mouth.

Hell yes! Go scientific words!
Maybe they could have an ability to rapidly grow gall-bladders (sacs which get filled with bile for use with digestion) which they can drop as a bomb!

The funny part about this Trickster, is that you COULD save yourself a lot of work and cut out the larva and pupa and just have an adult which drops eggs, but where'd the fun be in that? good luck, this'll be hilarious and awesome when it's done.
Also, when my little brother saw it he was like 'What the hell are they??'
