Foogooman I can’t ignore this you have a weapon named "Justice", but no "FREEDOM"! This is an outrage you just can’t have Justice without Freedom, it's a very important combo Freedom in one hand Justice in the other see what I'm getting at here.

Just imagine charging down a hill at a mob of clones you’re not just going to keep screaming Justice while your raping them no you have to scream "FREEDOM and JUSTICE!!!" and the rest goes from there.

Quick update:

Work is still going, I'm mostly just waiting for one last sprite from Maxim and then I'll have everything I need to do the final bits of coding.

UPDATE: Working on a weapon, but the glow effect refuses to show up on the muzzeflash. As far as I can tell, it SHOULD work, I don't see anything wrong with the code. Any ideas?

Perhaps the gun is overlapping the glow effect?

The glow effect is pretty massive, so no. Plus, it didn't work with drawafterparent = 1 either.

I have this problem too, only it's with the KMF mod. The radioactive stuff should glow, but it doesn't.

EDIT: Just in case: I am not the maker of the KMF mod.

I would expect an official dev to know glow effects are drawn on top of ♥♥♥♥ EVERYTHING in CC, even the line that separates player 1's and 2's screens.

I've noticed (a while ago) that in some circumstances glows aren't drawn when they are behind MOSRot's and up (or something like that, not exactly sure anymore)

Never happened to me...

The only things glows don't overlap is the main menu buttons (Just in case you didn't know; the planet, the moon and the title are actually glows (I found this out just last week))

Actually, they're solid sprites with no palette with glows around them. See this thread if you want some more interesting stuff about the GUI.

Well, the problem seems to be caused by the muzzleflash being slightly inside the weapon sprite.

For some reason, that's stopping the glow from showing.

Oh boy, I'm done working for tonight :P

Today I:

Did a TON of fine-tuning in the code on various weapons. Every gun is nearly finished, except for the Drone Launcher, which I am waiting for the sprite.
Created about 50 new gib sprites for the Punisher.
Replaced all the weapon sounds with new ones.


Tomorrow I'm going to convert the sprites to the CC palette and implement them into the code, and that's going to take a while. That's why I'm done for tonight, I'm tired of looking at gibs :P

Anyways, if Maxim gets me that drone launcher Sprite sometime this weekend, I should be finished some time next week.
