Post MPAM - AAL heavy unit
Ok, AAL is now officially hyped and is developing the MPAM at high speed.
MPAM = Multi Purpose Armored Mecha.
Thats right, Multi purpose. It can fly, walk, climb up, assault, dig, defend and guard. Fast and agile with tough armor plating and powerful thrusters to make it fly.

Topic is now open again! Please post any weapons ideas, normal or superweapon, and also a delivery ship for the AAL fleet.

Please post pics for the delivery craft since it will give me good ideas and help me draw the ship when I get to it.

Current weapons list:

So far I have these:
-Chaingun
-Beamrifle (deathray style)
-Beamrifle (phase beam style)
-Artillery Bazooka
-Rail Cannon
-Homing missile launcher
-Shotgun
-Waverifle (Knocks stuff away)
-Eradicator Sword
-Gravity Hammer
-Mega Drill
-Hyperion Bow (Not coded yet)

Stuff that I will maybe do:-Rocket pod
-Termination Claw
-Delivery Scoop
-Vector Cannon (SW)
-Heavy machine gun with explosive rounds


-Alteisen

AAL managed to put out a working, advertised product before you. If he managed to finish the mech before you--for all intents and purposes--he did it first.

Stop complaining and code faster and better.

Sounds great, Large walking metal death, whats not to like?

The weapon pack looks great, very nice range of weapons. (any chance of a flame/plasma thrower later on?)

Side note: How big is this going to be? Will it fit in bunkers, or is it meant to be outside only?

It needs a shoulder-launched-missile pod. Every mech needs them.
Every mech also needs railguns, but I believe you've already got that.

As for what you've already got...
The thing's a mech. Why does it need a shotgun? Or a hyper-digger? This thing's going to be at least twice the height of a Robot 1, right?

Missile pod is gonna be in for sure. Im just thinking whether Ill make it a bazooka that launches powerful missiles at slow rate or a missile pod that launches alot of missiles at a fast rate.

Railgun, check.

The shotgun is an Armour Piercing shotgun, its ment to penetrate stuff inside fortified walls to some extent and its cheaper than most of the weapons.
These toys will have a nice price on them so that affects the pack too.
So its pretty much a super shotgun.

The digger is like a super digger, if you remember Am's Rebel suit, the jet miner more specificly. Then thats what im going for. I might add a force shield feature for it. And besides that, it works as a powerful melee weapon too.

The mecha itself will be about the size of the panzor or the giant clone.
(With big legs to crush nooblets)

Good news, got the arm sprites done so far. Now all is left is the leg animation sprites and the hand. Oh yeah, and the thruster unit I need to design first.


Btw, which MG should I make?

A chaingun (Looks like a cool vulcan) or a machine gun (A bulky assault rifle of doom)?
