Open base.rte/palette.bmp in paint.

Copy your sprite out of whatever program.

Paste into paint.

Save as > your filename.

I was wondering how to make sparks and smoke fly out of the barrel when shooting?
Also is there a way to make little smoke puffs where bullets hit?

Only if it is not an MOPixel or MOSParticle, i believe....... It invloves gibbing and stuff for that, but when you're talking about TDExplosives, its the detonation.......what particle u using?

If the gun fires MOPixels (normal bullet particles) then you can't get it to do anything on hitting a surface.

If you're using a more exotic particles, such as an MOSRotating or TDExplosive, it can be made to gib (explode) on impact, which would release your smoke particles.

Thanks for bringing up something that gave me an idea though, assuming we can attach lua scripts to mopixels in B23 we'll be able to make all sorts of effects that are cool including mopixels that gib and easier timed sub-particles.. ahh Lua is going to make modding easier. also that sprite is fairly good i suppose, but way too heavily outlined and far too big for CC. keep practising.
