Re: Walker help
Ha! Nice... Well, at least I got a few laughs out of it and something similar to what I wanted...

Why? same reason you can't give a Dreadnaught a different gun: It uses an attached turret. If I'm wrong, and you somehow attached an AHuman to an ACrab, you're amazing and I bow before you. If not, hope you like SMGs!

Re: Walker help
You can always change the turret weapon through modding, though you can't ppick anything up. What if there's a new actor class in the next build, an ACentaur?

Re: Walker help
Sure, I'll upload it, and I am working on making a centaurlike robot. I'm just thinking like this:
scratch the details. You'll see what I mean when you see the new edit on the main post.

Re: Walker help
Take a look at line 373 in the new Walker.rte, something strange?
Take a look at 552, capitalization of "ParentOffset" is wrong. And on 553 and 554 you need to capitalize the "X" and the "Y".
Now, about the leg offsets and rotation, I don't know what look you are trying to accomplish.
And the don't be embarrassed to ask for help, but don't flood people's PM boxes with PMs about how you don't need their help anymore. Also, only use PMs when absolutely necessary. For example, don't send me a PM telling me that you understand what I just wrote. When you've been here for a long time, your inbox starts to get a little full.

Re: Walker help
I see... Sorry, I'm used to being around a little less... logical people. I'll be sure to stop using PMs as much.
In another note, I'll look into the errors.
What I was trying to do is that I found out about the atomgroup and how when I put the lower half on the feet instead of the legs, it'll stop those new lower halves from sinking into the ground.
For the offsets and rotation, I have no idea what the hell I was doing. I was trying to change the legs back to the normal dummy legs while change the feet. I guess I screwed it up.

Re: Walker help
Ok, I haven't read any of this thread after I made my post before this one. Durring that time, I've been busy creating my own centaur/walker thing. I did not copy a single piece off code from anything in this thread. I came back, and was completly unsure to post my centaur thing from fear of accusion of copying. BTW Zalo, your walker falls over alot. Here is a picture of MY centaur. (I was completly suprised when dabingo actually used the "Centaur" name) Attachment: TestDump000.bmp The head, arm, body, and crab body are seperate parts.
