A small experiment.
There are a few of us in this forum that are more than happy to try to help new users do what they want to do.
What I propose is making a subforum called, surprise, "In-game Help" or something similar with a subforum description that adequately states this forum is for basic technical support of the game.
Hopefully, we can provide an environment where newbies can ask their questions in peace. Additionally, it would be nice if one or two active users, if not more, could receive moderator rights in said forum so that we can delete unhelpful replies.
Anyone be willing to constructively help out with this project?

I'm all for this.
I was a n00b once, I understand.
But, it's fun to flame.
I'm in, tho.

I'm curious to hear your commentary about this, Grif. Do you see a problem?

I'm in. I always try to help new people.
Not to sound arrogant, but I think I would make a fairly good moderator in that sub-forum.
I know the difference between forum-right and forum-wrong and I always try to aid people.

Hey! I could get into this.
Hell, so long as the newbs have somehwere to hand in their newb badges before running, arms flailing, drool flying, into the mods section...
Yeah... I could do this...

No, this will not give you carte blanche to yell at people who cant read properly. The point of this solution is to help newbies, not give you an excuse to be a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Anyone still flaming newbies outside of it should still get a temporary ban handed to him. This ♥♥♥♥ has got to stop -- now.

Empyreal has already delivered an ultimatum. Stop flaming newbies or get a three day ban for a fist offense, with rising punishments with for further offenses.
