if it's in C, that'll make it easier to port to PSP, lol

so what your saying is 1 core [1.66GHz] is being used on my lappy [lap top] and the RAM is saving it a little

I believe so. I haven't seen source for this game (nor will I ever, probably), but I'm willin to bet that utilizing the GPU on a high-end video card will help minimally. The GPU only relieves the CPU of drawing, not math.

What needs to happen is support for multi-core processors, then it would do quite well.

So that is probably why your computer can run it perfectly.

Says the same thing for my AMD Sempron processor. I guess they expect me to overclock my CPU? AMD processors run way too hot for me to do that without worrying about axing my computer.

Not true, GPUs could possibly be more capable than CPUs at what would be needed, but not as good as a dedicated PPU.

Take a look at the Folding@Home stats, GPUs have a much higher flop/unit average than everything else. They're obviously not general-purpose, and their architecture allows for many more floating-point calculations per second.

I run CC on an older 3.6ghz P4 HT machine.

The demo ran great,

however the retail version of CC is spotty at best.

I don't understand it at all.

Maginoit defence, which is kind of an entity intensive map will slow down, but it won't stutter when things get busy, however on nearly every other map that has a reasonable amount of actors it just starts stuttering and jerking to the point of unplayability.
