Sei: “Fine by me. It’s likely we’ll get attacked again, though - possibly several times. If you’re up for that, welcome to the Hunt.

Boys, we’ll be heading to Soffolk tomorrow morning. I suggest you load up on food and fresh undies, it’s a long way on foot.

Any questions?”

Langley: "What the heck was that headache in the fight back there? Sudden spike of pain for a second."

Sei: "Witchcraft. Get used to it - The fiends are not content with breaking our bodies, they want to sully our minds as well. That's why we brought a Blesser."

Langley: "Well that much is obvious but what was it.
Do they just have heresy waves that can hit everyone in the area? Are there witch bombs we have to watch out for?
Can they release heretic beams from their eyes and corrupt all they see?"

Diamond: "It wasn't pleasant in any form to say the least. I wasn't doing much in the fight, so I saw our so called blesser wince just like everyone else.
Is he going to be alright? Am I going to be alright?"

Maxim: "Easy, Diamond... whatever demonic insult they call up probably only really destroys fools and the guilty-minded..."

Gabriel: "What you heard was the devil himself, echoed through his pawns. No mortal is safe from the devil's corruption, not I, nor even the highest ranking priests of my order. Solis is our sole protector. I am here to be his loyal servant, only calling his attention where it is required."

The Fencer sighs loudly and turns to the Investigator.

Langley: "Do you know what that actually was? And can explain it in a practical way?"

Charlotte: ”Witch-speak, the Witch’s voice, Demon tongue. A cursed language that places the devil’s mark on those who hear or speak it. Simple goons do not have the capacity to speak the words, it is an ability possessed only by witches, the most fargone, beyond any hope of redemption.”

Sei: "Hardly. We didn't capture, torture, or even annoy the witch. It was... A passing grade for a rookie team, but barely.

Kanas looks at his knives and whetstone - a good night’s work should be enough to turn them into shivs.
