EVENTS:

The sisters engage in hushed conversation, looking back and forth between each other and Klimt. Even the engineers seem to be discussing this development, in a peculiar language of beeps and tones.

Sally: "How long has it been? Thirty, forty years?"

Kelly: "Forty-three years and ninety-two days. Too long for undeveloped Detachment. Possibly, inactive unit? We need, to let Molly know."


Rosa proceeds forwards, and the twins back off in surprise, seemingly thrown off their commanding position. Compared to her, they now look oh so very small... And frail.

EVENTS:

After a pause, Kelly nods, and begins leading you along a great hallway, towards the seaside edge of the Rig.

The structure seems to be permanently vibrating, and you see rooms converted into forges, assembly lines and laboratories. Engineer undead are much more prevalent than zombies, and you even see a doll or two leading worker teams. In some ways, it's similar to the Factory, but in a more cramped, down-to-earth manner, as well as leagues less soul-crushing.

Eigla switches to semi-liquid form, serving as a lubricated mattress for Rosa's crippled front half. Klimt carries the barrel over his shoulder, closely followed by Curie and Emilia. Malia falls a little bit behind, subconsciously choosing the best position to evade an ambush.


Sally moves close to Klimt, small portholes opening on her helmet to reveal two telescope-like lenses, and studies the boy intently.

Sally: "...He, can't be real, though. Are, are you sure he's not secretly a girl? He isn't, arr, being puppeted by someone else, right? Are all his parts working? Has he ever, looked like he's going braindead? Or, zombie-like? Or, or..."

EVENTS:

Sally's nonexistent eyes glimmer.

Sally: "...A real Boy, in working order and all - And, a mudking-affected Doll who's managed to keep her mind. Yer an unique crew, landlubbers."

Kelly: "Hmm. Mudking-affected?"

Sally: "Oh, didn't I tell you? The big, ugly one, she said she's fused with a mudking core, which is why she's so big and weir-"

BANG

Sally is thrown backwards, a dent in the very middle of her helmeted forehead. Kelly holsters her pistol.

Kelly: "Hm hm. You will tell me such things, before, I let them into my rig. Now I will have to place all of her removed parts in a containment room."

Sally: "YOUR rig? This be my ship, ye scurvy molerat!"

Kelly: "I am the eldest. And, the workers obey me. Unless, you'd like to pit your crew against mine. Hmm."

Sally: "...One day, sister. One day."

Kelly: "Hmmm. Not worth risking contamination. Considering burning them, and you.

Still. Circumstances are unusual. If you've retained most your sanity while infected, you could be useful. Molly might want to keep you as a test subject."
