EVENTS:


Trying not to stare at the maggots crawling around Eigla's face, Rosa turns her eyes to the horizon. There are indeed windmills there, connected to - what are those things called again? Pumpjacks, she thinks.

Huh, something's moving amid the machinery. A truck, maybe? No, too small, more like a jeep of sorts. Some figures step down from it and start climbing onto a windmill, though the distance is too great even for her augmented eyes.


Hmm. The mist seems, a bit too thick and heavy to be just water vapour. Her senses indicate something else, like... Smoke, perhaps? Or oil?

EVENTS:

Klimt focuses inwards. He feels... Okay. Not exactly great, but not like he's going to break down, either. He's a bit surprised at how calm he feels, actually, considering how close things were to going catastrophically wrong. Well, perhaps surviving the Pillar Man brought him some sort of inner peace? He's not sure.


Eigla finishes her plate, then grabs another bucket for Rosa, using up all that was left in the cauldron.
She sits down by the sharkgirl, examining her wounds as she feeds her. Plenty of scrapes and reddish areas, many oozing thick, black blood. The grey, sandpaper-like skin is tough, but not enough to survive rubbing against the asphalt for several hours.

Still, the damage is superficial. Painful and distracting, but shouldn't take much Flesh to repair, if she desires to do so.



Far off in the distance, the shapes climb back into the jeep, then disappear into the smog.

EVENTS:

Eigla rests her head against Rosa for several minutes, affectionately listening to her tummy making rather loud noises as it processes the vast amount of meat within. She then goes back to the truck, to check their Flesh supplies.


Hmmm. A good amount of steel and muscle from the Valkyrie. Crabparts, carapace fragments and a few unhatched broodpods. A lone slab of fatty, maggot-ridden Flesh from the acolyte they butchered. 8 units, in total. Enough to have fun with, if you're creative.

EVENTS:

Eigla retrieves a few reels of string from the cargo bay, then uses her hands to make several crude hooks out of wire. They're low-tech, but should be sturdy enough to reel in medium-sized fish.
