Peggy: "I'm... Not sure. You said, you rebuilt my body from scratch. That's, a whole lot of her Flesh.

I dunno. It, it gets better when I eat. It's like, I start listening to her thinking out loud, instead of our minds mixing. But, it doesn't last. And, eating feels so... Wrong.

If it weren't for you, I don't know what I'd do. I suppose, I could cut off my head and start anew, but- "

She looks down at herself, biting her lip.

Peggy: "...Anything but that. I, I don't want to be a ball of arms again. Even if it means suffering."

Peggy: "I, can think of worse fates. But...

I don't think, you'd like it much, in here. So, I don't know.

It's never easy, is it? It's like, we work in such weird ways. I can never tell what's going to go wrong next. I'm trying as hard as I can, to be Peggy. But still-

Sigh.

At least, I have you. And, at least I'm pretty enough not to embarrass you when we're together..."

EVENTS:

Peggy smiles in a slightly devilish manner.

Peggy: "But, compare me back then and now. Am I not the most attractive woman you've eeeeeeever seen?~"

EVENTS:

Peggy hugs Klimt once again, smiling and purring smugly.

Peggy: "That's right. Heee heeee, I'm the prettiest in the world, and no one else even comes close~

Say, love, how about we get comfortable and snuggle together for the night? I'll make sure you feel great by morning~"

EVENTS:

Peggy frowns for a moment, but then seems to relax.

Peggy: "...You're right. I, still think that sorta stuff is kind of icky. I don't know why I've been so fixated on it.

I'll take this corner, then. Good night, Klimt. I love you."

She gets into one of the sleeping bags, with Klimt choosing another. The dark curtain of sleep is quick to descend upon him.

The grey sun rises over another bleak, chilly morning. Klimt wakes up to see his unconscious harem piled together on one corner of the truck bed, hugging one another for warmth. At least they seem to be getting along!


Meanwhile, Eigla and Rosa are awoken by the sound of someone knocking on the manor's door. Jumping out of the king-size bed, they get dressed and go see who it is.

Pierre is at their doorstep, along with a few zombies carrying empty barrels.

Pierre: "Bonjour! Just delivered today's tithe to your maneating flowerbed. It didn't try to kill us, so that's a good sign.

Also! Eigla, the Priestess said you were needed at the church. Rosa, she didn't mention you, but I suppose you... Should come along."

Pierre: "Meat. Our proximity to the factory means there's enough to go about, and if it keeps the plants calm, all the better. The barrels were just a convenient way of moving it."

EVENTS:

Eigla absentmindedly munches on some jerky while getting dressed, then goes to the church along with Rosa. Peculiarly, Pierre does not follow them.

The great hall is not as busy as before, though the Organist seems to have returned to his position at the back. A few acolytes wait next to the altar, as well as a rather tall, corpulent figure in a tattered robe. A heavy wooden table has been placed before the pit, its surface stained a dark red.

Priestess: "Welcome. Welcome! You join us again, Sister Eigla. Have you slept well?"
