EVENTS:

Snow...

Many seasons ago, you left. Then, fire came from the hills, and a long winter. Still today, it lasts. Comes and goes, but never truly leaves.

We survived.

When the snow is strong, we wait. Tonight, it will get stronger. Then, weaker. Then we move.

Will you leave, again?"


A tree-horse moves closer to sniff at Rosa. Apparently it likes what it smells, since it begins licking her tail.

Salt. Part of us, remembers.

EVENTS:

The horse shies away slowly, leaving a small moist patch on Rosa's tail.

The earth, grows poor with the years, and the sun also falters. Find food in other ways. Creatures of flesh walk the woods, and we hunt for them. Make into roots and leaves.

Other times, the creatures come with fire. More difficult, but food anyways.

Some are near. Food for you, as well.

EVENTS:

The harem shuffles uneasily at Klimt's remark.

Curie: "Noted. However - Unit must warn. We are being watched."

She points with her head, and they see a small group of spearmen, hidden among the bushes nearby.

Curie: "Their behaviour has shifted. Moments ago, they were moving forwards, presumably to strike. Now, however, they seem passive. Like their orders changed."


Meanwhile, the garden makes a strange sound, almost like laughter.

We're glad.

Its attention shifts elsewhere once again, and the swaying branches go quiet. A few mounted spearmen arrive, carrying more partially dismembered zombies and dolls, and begin chopping up and burying them. There are now at least three dozen plantpeople in the garden.

EVENTS:

The Garden regards the girls with passing interest as they rejoin Klimt and his Harem. The scouting spearmen, seeing her approach, cease to watch and return to the greenhouse.

Peggy: "What the hell happened? Who are these freaks who keep following us around? Are they gonna leave us alone?"
