Eigla takes a look at the elevator, trying to figure out what's wrong. The platform doesn't seem to be going up or down, even when mild pressure is applied, and sparks come from the mechanism every few seconds. Other than that... she's at a loss.

EVENTS:

Eigla determines there are no breaks, per se. Instead, a miniature electric-powered oil pump causes a piston to extend, separating a series of trellis-shaped steel bars and lifting the platform. The pump seems to be jammed somehow, and is glowing mildly red from overheating.


Peggy: "If, they are better."

The pump blows a whiff of steam back at Eigla's face.

Doll: "Affirmative. There should be a complete tool cart in the security maintenance room this unit had previously mentioned."

Meanwhile, Klimt follows the Doll's instructions and reaches the maintenance room. There's a few workbenches, flickering lights and, thankfully, a rusty red toolcart.

He sees a figure with the corner of his eye and turns toward it, ready to fight!

Oh. It's the defective patrol unit she mentioned. The exoskeleton is propped against a wall, its gun arm bent beyond recognition, while the zombot itself sits beside it, stasis suit active.
