Klimt panics and calls for Mary, but no one comes. They're still too far away from the farm to be heard.

He looks at the carcasses he's carrying, and wonders about using them for repairs. It... Should be possible, theoretically. He saw Big Red do it, after all.
But, whereas when it comes to Flesh, he has an instinctual knowledge of where each part goes and how they connect, Meat just feels like... Meat. It's strange, but there's some sort of blockage in his mind, like a large blank space, where it comes to using living meat for construction work. There should be something there, but - Isn't.


Eigla sets Rosa down, propping her body against a tree, and begins repairing her Sword.

The Coffin is obviously the most important part, seeing as her continued survival hinges on it. The large, ammo crate-like enclosure is badly bent, so she spends a long time hammering it back into shape with a rock. The insides are considerably more complex, however.
Large stacks of circuit boards, some cracked and burnt. A bundle of wires connects to Rosa's spinal cord, drawing energy from her body and assessing its status. Manipulator arms, cautery systems and canisters of nanomachines and liquefied Flesh take up most of the space, cracked and leaking.
It takes a great deal of ingenuity to repair a machine when all you have to work with is a dead monster's brain. Nerves replace burnt circuit board traces, tendons and muscles take the place of motors, and the various cracked chips are replaced with chunks of cerebral matter.

Eigla admits she has very little idea of WHAT she is doing, but it seems to have worked, as the Coffin's control panel lights up, though the screen seems filled with gibberish. She places the rest of the Flesh in the input compartment, and watches expectantly as the mechanism sparks and whirrs.


A few minutes later, you have... Well, they ARE legs and a crotch, strictly speaking. Just, not quite human. They're... Far too bony, and thin, and bloody, for that. Small amounts of skin seem to be stretched over large areas, with substantial gaps over the joints, and bundles of tentacle-like sinew hanging haphazardly from twitching, blackened muscles. It does fit the end of her spine and properly attach to her pilebunkers, but...

Something looks... Well, off, or at least more off than her lacking the entire front of her torso. Rosa feels strange as well, though the feeling is quite hard to describe. Like, an itch she can't quite scratch, in parts she doesn't quite have.

EVENTS:

The group returns to Mary's, helping Rosa sit down, as her legs are far too frail and shaky to support her weight. A few minutes later, Mary returns with the sunset.

Mary: "Oh, back already? Good, good. Eigla, you did a great job with the structures out there, I - Oh, two deer for dinner? Goodness gracious Klimt, I have to watch my weight. Now then- Uhm."

She looks at Rosa and Eigla's sorry, filthy state.

Mary: "...Are you two quite all right?"

EVENTS:

Eigla runs outside to work on her BUILDING PROJECTS. She sure is determined!

Peggy and Klimt help Mary prepare dinner. It's a bit of a gargantuan task, considering they acquired no less than 110 pounds of edible meat this last hunt. They roast it quite thorougly, so it'll hopefully last the week.

Emilia sits by Rosa's side, both their stomachs growling.

Emilia: "Hungry. Brain, think lots. Tiresome.

...You too, look hungry. What you change?"

Emilia: "Not Mila. E-mi-li-a.
Is fine. Emilia patient. One day, change mind. Minds change, easy.
Eigla love Rosa?"

Emilia: "She do? Hmmm.

Hi, you! Me, Emilia. Nice to meet.

Emilia still curious. Rosa taste nice? You, Rosa too. Know?"
