EVENTS:

Eigla starts to answer, but feels something tugging at her leg. Until then, she'd just assumed she'd tripped on a tree root, but... Whatever it is, it seems to have wrapped around her foot?



Klimt gives Peggy a good look. The two new arms are now almost full-sized, and fingers are starting to sprout from where she'd cut off her burnt hand. Regenerating it must be taking a toll on her tiny frame.

Peggy: "Grumblemumble... Hungry."

EVENTS:

Klimt takes some jerky from his pack and waves it in front of Peggy's face. She immediately begins munching on it, opening her eyes slightly.

Peggy: "Breakfast in bed? You're gonna spoil me, Klimt."

Nevertheless, she continues to eat with gusto, petting his lap and licking his fingers clean.

Peggy: "Deliiiiicious. So, what's the plan for today?"





Meanwhile, Eigla activates her Crawling Flesh, much to Rosa's surprise. A disform mass of blood and entrails expands outwards from her severed shoulder, wrapping around the thing on her leg and pulling it off.

She now sees it is some sort of mud-covered tentacle, topped by a rotted human skull. It shrieks as she crushes it inside herself, then retracts quickly into the bog.

Quicker than any of you can react, some sort of huge creature pulls itself from the depths. It is a bloated, vaguely humanoid figure made of bones and muck, attached to the bottom via a long, fleshy stalk. It swings its massive arms in rage, tentacles flailing about, while a small band of mudmen crawls out from holes in its massive body.

This looks bad!

The Mud King wraps a huge tentacle around Rosa's waist and flings her across the battlefield, landing on the muck several yards away. She quickly jumps back to her feet and returns fire, blowing huge chunks of dried mud and flesh off the creature's back!

Eigla charges at the Mud King, trying to get close enough to protect Rosa. The mudmen claw and bite at her, but she dexterously avoids most attacks, the few that connect being instantly stopped by her unnatural flesh, that hardens into a cement-like barrier upon contact.
She lunges at the monster, regenerating her arm in order to grab and tear away its tentacles. The Mud King flails about in a storm of tendrils and bones, but doesn't actually manage to hit anything!

Rosa and Eigla suffer 1 Madness.

The Mud King manages to free itself from Eigla's sticky mass, and wraps its tentacles around both of Rosa's legs! She tries to break free, but the creature is too strong. With a horrible ripping sound, it pulls its appendages in opposite directions, causing Rosa's body to split at the groin, legs and feet and entrails flying everywhere. Her pelvic bone detaches from her spine and is sent whistling through the air, before being grabbed by another tendril and casually added to the King's armor.

This, surprisingly, does not seem to faze the gunslinger, who cackles manically as she continues to unload her pistols onto the huge monster. More bullet holes appear, and the creature topples sideways, its meaty stalk too damaged to support its weight. It tries to prop itself up with its arms, but a hail of bullets rips them to shreds as well.

Eigla screams and attempts to reach and help Rosa, but the creature's tentacles flail about frantically, pushing her back a good distance! She regenerates her fist and continues to move forwards, ignoring the swarm of mudmen that futilely try to hurt her. She is a bulwark of raw stone, and their attacks break upon her armor like waves against a fjord.

Eigla and Rosa suffer 1 Madness!

Peggy smiles and nods.

Peggy: "Okay!"

Putting on her poncho, she holds hands with Klimt as they leave, followed closely by Emilia. To their surprise, the area around the farm is now covered with small foundations and storage piles and coal mounds and furnaces and two cabin-like structures. Did Eigla do all of this?

Actually, did Eigla do all of this in *one morning* while *one armed*???

That girl's crazy, yo. She's not there, though, and neither is Rosa.
