Mary shakes her head, looking a bit dizzy.

"I... I was not in my right mind, yesterday. I, I cut myself in half. It was like, being drunk I suppose. Even now, I'm trying to make sense of the details. Seeing everything from two points of view at once is very disorienting.

I remember... Being very crude. I'm terribly sorry. I hope I didn't bother you too much.

And yes, I'm afraid... We all did. At least I think so. It's like, a hazy dream for me."

Rosa walks in, prompting Mary to try and cover herself up, bumping onto Peggy in the process.

Peggy: "Hrmrhrhmmh lemmesleepsomemore..."

Mary: "Uhm. H-hello there, Rosa. I, I hope my antics didn't bother you and Eigla too much. I'm better now, however! P-please give me a moment, I'll cook breakfast right away!"



Meanwhile, Eigla works on building a smokehouse. A few secondhand bricks become a makeshift foundation, held together with packed clay. She begins sawing the trees into boards, though it's rather slow work with a single pair of hands.

Rosa: "Ah, Mary succeeded.
Hm. Mary, you're in two pieces now. Or, I guess it's Mary and Ram. Ram-Mary? Ramary?"


Mary: "Uhm. We're, both Mary. Well. Right now you could say, I'm, Mary, since, we're not really two?"

She tugs at the long, fleshy cord connecting her spine to the ram's.

Mary: "So, don't feel uh, like you need to treat me any different! I'm, the same Mary as always!"

The sheepgirl passes the kilt she'd been using as bedsheet to Klimt, who embarrassedly puts it on. She then looks down at herself and grimaces.

Mary: "...Ugh. This body looks so weird. I... What was I thinking. Two navels? Really? I mean, I couldn't let the poor girl's go to waste, but...

Well. At least Klimt likes it! D-don't you, dear?"




Meanwhile, Eigla sets down the basic framing for the smokehouse, with a pillar on each end, supported by diagonal pieces. It feels quite sturdy!

EVENTS:

Klimt: "It's lovely..."

Mary positively BEAMS at the compliment, while Peggy grumbles in her sleep. Bullet dodged!

Rosa: "Hm. Hm. I see.
Oh, Mary. You are good at surgery. I am not very good at surgery. Can you help me with my fingers? They need fine tuning."

Mary: "Sure, sure! Just, let me get dressed and find my needles..."

A few minutes later, and Rosa has rather presentable hands again, as well as a wealth of cosmetic repair knowledge. Mary stows her sewing kit with a smile.

Mary: "So you see, when you harvest skin from the thighs, you can usually- Oh, Emilia's awake. Good morning, dear."

Indeed, the banshee is now up, and looks fixedly at Rosa, smiling ear to ear.



Meanwhile, Eigla finishes cladding the smokehouse with handmade boards, secured with simple wooden pegs. She feels like quite an accomplished carpenter, and starts working on the roof.
