Emilia: "Wolf come, hunt sheep. M'ila hunt wolf! Bite arm, Eega give new arm. Ro'a say not eat wolf! Bad! Hunt wolf, meat good, share!"

Eigla examines the remaining wolf. It's... Most definitely Meat.
There's some small areas, especially around the mouth and eyes, that have turned into Flesh, appearing as dark, crusty spots, but the wolf as a whole is not undead.



While Rosa and Klimt discuss the situation, Emilia begins chowing down on the second wolf with surprising gusto, breaking through its thick fur with her bare teeth and fingers to consume the organs one by one.

Peggy: "...Slow down, poophead. You starved or what?"

Eigla leaves the wolf in front of Emilia, who smiles and begins messily biting it as well. The shieldmaiden then brings Rosa inside to get food.

The inside of the house seems to be a bit messy, and considerably more cluttered than usual. Mary has set a small cot for the wounded sheep, and is busy bandaging its leg. The demon ram sits by her feet, looking restless.

Still, dinner time it is. Eigla reaches inside her supply bag and takes out a good amount of roasted deer, mouthing "say aaah" to Rosa.




Meanwhile, Klimt and Peggy watch the banshee devour the carcasses.

Klimt: "Emilia, are you hungry enough to finish all that by yourself? It was an impressive hunt."

Emilia, who at that point was shoulders-deep inside a wolf's ribcage, lifts up her bloodstained head and smiles.

Emilia: "Yes! Emilia, very hungry."

Rosa lets Eigla gently feed her strips of meat, chewing with gusto. It's become a rather relaxing ritual for the two of them, it seems.

Rosa: "Mary, we met the Red Wolf."

The shepherdess, who'd just finished washing her hands after cleaning up the wounded lamb, seems to finally awake from her panic.

Mary: "Who? Oh, you mean the- THAT wolf? Was it hunting you? Oh dear. A-are you hurt? Is that why it took you so long? I, I realise I should have gone looking for you sooner, but I didn't think- I thought- I-"

She lets out a long sigh, sitting down onto the floor with teary eyes.

Mary: "I'm sorry. It's just, been a stressful day. I-I wish I could be a better host."



Meanwhile, Emilia shrugs.

Emilia: "Different? Hungry. Not starved, just, very hungry."

Klimt realises her exposed arteries are beating considerably faster than usual, and her pale skin seems a bit... Flushed? Is she sweating, on a cold day like this?
