While Klimt stays behind to guard the flock, Rosa and Eigla run after Mary. The blood trail grows fainter, then suddenly grows as another dark pool appears in the mud. A hundred more yards, and you find what is clearly a mangled, disembodied arm.

But whose could - Oh dear.


A short ways ahead, you see Mary has stopped, and is looking at something on the ground.

You approach, the gruesome scene before you lit by the wavering flames of Mary's torch.

One moderately wounded sheep, shivering in terror. Two partially dismembered and completely dead wolves, along with what might have once been half of a third one.

Emilia, completely covered in blood and calmly eating the remains of the third canine.

The one-armed banshee smiles proudly and offers you the wolf heart she'd been chewing on.

Emilia: "M'ila find dinner!"

From the skin tone, bite marks, and the fact Emilia is currently three-limbed, Eigla deduces it is most likely Emilia's arm. It looks quite bitten and mangled, however. You're not sure if it could even be reattached.

Rosa: "...
...
♥♥♥♥."

Mary: "Yes. Oh, oh dear. I hope this doesn't get infected... Come here, dear, let me take a look at you..."

She takes the sheep in her arms and begins carrying it back to the house, but stops.

Mary: "Emilia, was it? Thank you."

Emilia: "M'ila help!"

Emilia:"M'ila see, dog sheep go! Bad no take, Mary sheep! M'ila go, dog eat!"

Eigla sighs, then uses her folding knife to cut off her own arm. She throws it at Emilia, who looks at her with confusion.

Emilia: "Not meat?"

Rosa: "...Hm.
Good Mila. But don't eat any more of them, it's rude."

Emilia: "But- M'ila hungry! Meat, many! See, meat! Eat, good."

Emilia pouts, but lets Eigla repair her arm. When it is done, she grabs one of the carcasses and runs back towards the house with it.

...She's, unusually confrontational.



Meanwhile, Klimt and Peggy see Mary rush back, carrying a wounded lamb, then go into the house. Emilia soon follows, bringing a large dead wolf.

Emilia: "M'ila find meat!"
