EVENTS:
Peggy just nods, crying softly, and hugs Klimt as tight as she can. He can't help but notice how slimy and disgusting her exposed guts feel against his chest.
Mary nods gravely.
Mary: "Please do so. I am sorry for not warning you before, but I didn't know there were infected animals in this forest. I will have to be more careful in the future, and not let any sheep stray close to the edge of the woods."

Klimt leaves with Peggy to go find something to wear. Using the leather sheets, they fashion a new, slightly rustic poncho. It smells rather strongly of urine, but does a good job of covering her body.
Peggy looks a bit miffed, but puts it on nonetheless.
Eigla checks the time. Mid afternoon. Plenty of sunlight left for crafting! She and Rosa return to their timber pile, and begin sharpening the stiffer branches into simple stakes. Or at least Eigla does. With her hands paralyzed and covered in a thick layer of burnt scabs, Rosa can't do much but watch and cheer her shield on.
Mary remains at the bonfire, first watching to see if the pelt burns completely, then using a long stick to pull some of the meat out of the flames, holding the pieces above the fire until they're thoroughly cooked.
Before you know it, the sun starts to set again. The flock returns home, and Mary starts preparing dinner. It looks like it might rain tonight.

> Surround Mary's house with outward-facing stakes. Maximum of 3/4 foot apart, angled and facing outward, three layers 2 feet apart. Don't worry about making it too large, just need to encircle the house with maybe 50 feet of walking space between the house and the barrier.

Eigla sets about making a small palisade around the farm, closely followed by Rosa. It's tedious work, even if her strength makes it trivial. After an hour, she's just about done.
Eigla looks at Rosa and almost faints as she realises her Sword is eating her own hands. Was she that hungry?!
Klimt takes a few of the raincoats and makes a small tent around the sleeping spot. It should keep the rain out, while also affording a modicum of privacy. Peggy crawls inside, sighs, and puts her collar back on.
Mary comes out of the house, her smile a bit fainter than usual.
Mary: "Dinner's ready! Come on in, before it gets cold!"

Klimt: "Thank you, Mary. I have hope that the hunt will go better tomorrow, so we can co-"
He stops dead in his tracks as he sees the huge pile of roasted deer meat lying on the table, with onions and potatoes. Mary smiles triumphantly.
Mary: "I spent the whole afternoon cutting off the infected parts. Managed to save about three quarters of it all. It was, the least I could do, after you all-"
She glances at Rosa's destroyed hands.
Mary: "A-anyways, eat up! It'll go bad otherwise, so don't be shy! You've earned it!
He cuts a few pieces for himself and peggy, while Eigla gently handfeeds Rosa. It tastes surprisingly good, for non-raw meat!

"It's ok Mary. This much damage isn't hard for me to repair. It will make shooting a bit difficult but not impossible. We should be thanking you for salvaging our catch."
