Eigla checks on the radiohead doll. Still no signs of life. She at least doesn't seem to be decomposing, either. Just... Inanimate.
Eigla: "Let's see if there're any easy zombies around."
Rosa: "Eigla? Thank you for taking care of me. And Klimt too, you pulled me out of the rain."
Klimt: "I did you wrong."
Rosa: "You were hungry. We all got hungry. But then you did right."
Klimt: "I won't forget that lesson."
Cracking the hatch open, the group takes a look outside.
It's a chilly, cloudy morning. Huge puddles and patches of mood are all that remains from yesterday's thunderstorm. Now that you can finally see your surroundings, you realise you're in a large, open plain, surrounded by the rusting frames of all kinds of war machines, either partially buried or lying among old craters. The odd shapes you'd seen the night before were actually destroyed tanks, fallen helicopters, and 40-foot metal-clad skeletons.
...Skeletons. Everyone silently hopes those are all that remains of whatever gigantic creatures those were.
Looking to the East, you see the stadium, a small line of smoke or steam rising from its roof. Directly West lie the indistinct contours of the city, ruined skyscrapers casting strange shadows in the morning mist. A bit to the northwest you see some sort of overpass-like structure. Perhaps the road Red was talking about?

Klimt: "If nothing else, the road is worth taking a chance on..."
Eigla: "Doesn't seem like there's any other way to go, and we need supplies."
Rosa: "And the city is not. I can look around from the vantage point of the overpass."
The group moves through the fields, heading towards the overpass. The trek is mostly calm; The few zombies they encounter are badly damaged from the rain, and slowly being pecked to pieces by huge flocks of the everpresent crows. Rosa manages to shoot a couple, guaranteeing at least a meager meal for the night.
They reach the large, run-down concrete structure. It seems it was once part of a much larger highway system, but now only a few pylons remain. Climbing atop the tallest of them, Rosa surveys the surroundings.
A vast wasteland. Cloudy skies, muddy plains and not much else of note The stadium is now far behind, but the city is still indistinct. Red's road continues to the Northwest, passing through a hilly, rocky area, then a grassland. Far in the distance, through the mist, you see the edge of some sort of forest.

Rosa: "The forest would probably have food. Wild food. Let's go there."
The group sets off upon the road, Rosa keeping a hand on her Shield for safety.. The concrete is cracked and peppered with overgrowth, but it still beats the muddy fields. The day is spent travelling in silence, as the grim landscape deadens their senses and the piercing wind drowns any attempt at conversation. For several hours, they feel, and act, as mere walking corpses.
As twilight approaches, a light drizzle begins to fall. You find a large, dead tree to hide under, but it's rather poor shelter. This would probably be a good moment to rest, talk and consider how to divide two dead crows between four hungry zombies. ________________________________________
