You pause, and then smirk.

”"Answers not in order."”

Isaac: "No, I get what you mean.

I heard the possibility of combat mentioned, which was especially odd. You'd expect threats of witchcraft to attract bullies rather than repel them.

That's funny. I'd assume they've got to have a teacher sponsoring them. But I can't tell any of these masked people apart. How the hell does it work?"

You shrug, while he starts leisurely eating his pasta.

"Place is strange. Small towns do that to people, I guess. This 'magic' thing, though...

Tch. They act as if it were better than good old fashioned effort. It pisses me off."

You dig into your food, quickly devouring the meal while Isaac laughs.

Isaac: "Yeah, well, no matter how much you sweat over the candles nothing will happen. That's the difference between putting work into make-believe versus studying or sports."

You nod approvingly, while eyeing Isaac’s food.

Isaac eats some more of his food before pushing the rest over to you, which you quickly finish.
