Illegal power/water taps take care of the basic necessities, and after throwing out all of the junk and applying some much needed cleaning and painting, her little abode now looks like a miniature, single-room hospital.

Bright meets Faust at the latter's place, and they attempt to summon the ULTIMATE SPIRIT OF BOXING.

It takes two tries and 4 Drain, but eventually the ground quakes and shudders as a dimensional portal opens, and off it steps out a great bald figure wearing yellow overalls and a cape.

The PUNCHMAN looks at you questioningly.




The mobster looks around as if he heard something, but can't seem to pinpoint where. He cleans his ear with a finger, shrugs, then continues to smoke and lean against a wall.





Vargall checks his gun over. Not only is it completely COVERED in modifications and OPERATOR gear, but there seems to be some sort of... Otherworldly quality to it.

Not being an Arcana specialist, he can't determine what exactly it is, but it seems to have some sort of presence on the Astral Plane as well.

TIME passes uneventfully.




Allie discreetly advertises her services, and manages to find 5 customers on her first week. Nice!

Four patients go by without incident, and Allie makes a pretty penny.

The fifth, though, an innocent young elf girl victim of most unfortunate circumstances and needing urgent surgery, is left lame and disfigured due to Allie's carelessness. She's too shy and kind to complain about it, however, and still pays half the agreed price.

Feeling bad after the whole thing, Allie decides to give her a lifetime of discounted medical services.


Allie earns 9K Nuyen, and a lifetime of regrets!





Backsmasher applies to work as a bouncer. He has to visit three nightclubs before finding a place where the manager is able to notice and talk to him, but it pays off.

Actually working goes... Moderately well. Being a troll, he is physically imposing enough to discourage most troublemakers, but he's far too socially awkward to actually tell anyone off when they decide to stand up to him.


Backsmasher earns 3K Nuyen!




Faust wriggles his fingers purposefully, and attempts to bind the spirit to Bright's aid. He utters a few power words and-

TIME has stopped its flow.

Faust begins to bleed from his nose as the arcane energies overflow his soul, and falls backwards, unconscious. Faust takes 12S Drain!


PUNCHMAN breaks from its bindings and morphs into a new, unbound form, free from the fetters imposed by Faust's subconscious! PUNCHMAN has become KICKWOMAN.


KICKWOMAN flexes her POWERFUL GLUTES and threateningly points her foot in Bright's direction.

"MORTAL. I WILL END THIS FOOL WHO ATTEMPTED TO COMMAND ME. STEP ASIDE, OR FEEL THE FULL WRATH OF MY TONED HIPS."

DOWNTIME has ended prematurely! You all feel instinctively like Faust and Bright are in mortal danger!


What will you do?

KICKWOMAN kicks Bright! He attempts to parry, but is hit straight in the jaw for... No damage? That's one strong face.

KICKWOMAN spins in the air and whacks the ork in the face, for- What's his skull made of, titanium? Bright takes no damage.

KICKWOMAN roundhouse kicks Bright, this time dealing damage! He reels back as he suffers... 2S damage.


This fight might take a while.




Faust tries to wake up, but his Damage Overflow exceeds his Willpower! He stays passed out, completely out of it.






Backsmasher and Allie finish their current businesses and sprint to Bright's apartment! Backsmasher meets the elf healer midway through and waves at her, but she doesn't seem to notice him.


Backsmasher bursts into the apartment, kicking down the door, but no one responds. He's just too stealthy for that! There seems to be a bizarre monster repeatedly kicking at Bright, who's completely unfazed by it. Faust lies on the floor, unconscious.

Allie slowly walks into the room. EVERYONE notices Allie, even Faust.





Vargall attempts to do a long duration action, but TIME refuses to advance faster than one second per second! Something must have interrupted the flow of OVERTIME!
