The FIREMAN envelops Bright with a torrent of magma, which quickly turns into lava!

Bright is unfazed. His cool demeanour extinguishes the fire around him! HE takes no damage.

Bright runs over towards the evidence room, burst firing at the door on his way! The door takes 14P damage and is torn to shreds! He walks in, taking cover by the doorway, and is quickly followed by Vargall and Allie.

Allie gives Bright a quick glance, and he's suddenly not nearly as burnt as before! Bright regains 5 hp! THA'S A GOOD DOKTOR.

She then turns to look for the briefcase.

The Evidence Room is a long, dark series of hallways between metal shelving units, each filled with evidence from a number of cases. Guns, drugs, DNA samples, assorted pieces of clothing. Finding anything here will be a chore!

...in her frenzied, K-10-fueled rage, Allie is in no shape for methodic tasks at all! Her Perception has been reduced to zero, and she can't bring herself to look through the shelves!



The FIREMAN flies into the room and his flames intensify!

YOUR PAIN STOKES THE FURNACE IN MY SOOOOOOOOUL!

The flashing, searing light emanating from the creature triggers something primal in the shadowrunners' minds, and they all flee from the FIREMAN, ending in opposite ends of the room! They must succeed in a Willpower test to approach it again!

The FIREMAN blazes through the room, setting fire to everything around him. He looks for a target, and Allie is the first to be spotted.


The FIREMAN bodyslams Allie, setting her on fire! Allie takes 7P damage!

Allie blinks in surprise, then looks back at her assailant. Her muted, expressionless shell cracks, then shatters.

The fireman taught her Anger.

ALLIE HAS GONE BERSERK! All nonviolent actions will automatically be replaced with violent ones until the rage subsides.

Bright attempts to overcome his fear and charge the FIREMAN! He sort of manages it, but is too scared to open his eyes!

Bright blindly trips over a badly-secured power cable, but manages to keep moving, dragging the wire along with himself!

Bright misses the FIREMAN and slams against a wall, stunned! The power cable snaps and shocks them both! Bright takes 4S damage! The FIREMAN takes 4P damage!

Bright feels like things are going to get better soon. He regains one Edge!

Bright has now been the first word in 5 consecutive lines. He feels pretty smug about this.

Vargall looks around the shelves and finds a weapon that catches his eye. It's a big revolver, except it has... A foregrip and folding stock? Wait, is that a telescopic sight? TWO cylinders, one after the other? A laser sight, flashlight and UV light? A BLOODY TRIPOD?!

He grabs the bizzarre abomination. Upon the side of the extended barrel, the word OPERATOR is engraved.


Oh, he also finds a briefcase tagged as "MAFIA BUST #308". Sounds important, so he decides to nab it.

At Faust's command, the WATERSNAKE flies into the building.

Faust spends a point of Edge and attempts to reassert his will once more!

Nnnnope. His only result is getting a "STOP PESTERING ME YOU INSECT" telepathic response from the FIREMAN.

The WATERSNAKE materizalizes from a faucet and squirts water at the FIREMAN!

...it misses.

IT SQUIRTS AGAIN!

...Bright is now soaked.


The FIREMAN turns to shoot a fireball at the WATERSNAKE! The WATERSNAKE takes 12P damage and is sent back to its native plane in a cloud of steam, unable to return until sundown!


Allie unleashes a flurry of maddened blows and kicks and even a few bites at the FIREMAN! It evades every single attack, however.



Jesus H. Christ Faust, you HAD to summon the DEADLIEST spirit. ;_;

Vargall, scoundrel that he is, absconds from the field of battle. In fact, he absconds SO HARD he goes all the way back to the car! It's now thankfully no longer on fire, just smells a bit toasty.

Through the window, he sees the policemen trying to put out the fire to exit the shop. You don't have much time!

Lamps explode in a shower of sparks, shelves are knocked over, and even the FIREMAN pauses to protect his eyes from the sudden sonic boom.

Allie just stands there, twitching and breathing heavily, surprised at the havoc she has inadvertedly wrought.

Her plaid shirt is destroyed by the sheer energies summoned, exposing her arms, which crackle and sizzle with blue veins of excess mana.

Allie has lost *Lumberjack Clothes!* (good thing she still has her leather armor vest!)

Allie has BURNT OUT! She may no longer cast magic until sundown.

Backsmasher takes the chance to pull a fire extinguisher off a wall hook and use it against the FIREMAN! He sprays water at the creature, but the FIREMAN avoids it by stepping back!

Hm. Even if it did not hit him, the fireman seems to be discouraged by the liquid stream. He keeps backing off from it.
