Post Old Website Purchaser Download Issues
So I bought this game off the website years ago and am currently having trouble updating. I tried the support website but it appears to have errors accessing its databases. I also messaged scancode but he hasn't gotten back to me (not sure if he still even checks here). What can I do?

I think the best bet is to use any sort of purchase-related code you might have to activate it on Steam. I used my humble bundle code, which at the time also worked on some HB-related code-redeeming site (the link can probably be found in a thread somewhere).

I really don't know the exact procedure for on-site purchases, but scancode did check in on the forums last week.

You could also try to contact weegee somehow, he could probably provide you with the latest build.

Thanks for the reply. Steam activation didn't work, sadly. I'll ask weegee.

Edit: My problems are solved.

Anyone knows if there are plans to get the licensing site up again?

If anyone is interested in the info, the licensing site is running again.

Apologies for the necro, but this certainly fits here: the Licensing site is working, but it's still only giving you Build 31. Is that a mistake, or have they just not gotten Build 32 up there yet?

I can confirm, the licensing site downloads the build 31.

I am terribly sorry to revive this thread after five years of it being dead and buried. Unfortunately, it's probably the best place to post my question. If not, just tell me to shut up or something.

Anyway, I purchased the game a long, long time ago (date for the email confirmation is 2010) and have a key and everything. Problem is, it was for a Mac (I know, I know) and I don't have one any more because I insisted on getting a real computer once the Apple my wife wanted finally died.
I have no idea how to download the game, and even if I could, I don't have the right computer any more. Is there any option to activate on Steam or anything like that? I tried to just email Data Realms, but the "Contact" button on the website doesn't seem to do anything.

Thanks, that did the trick. Steam key and everything. I was under the impression from other threads that keys weren't being issued any more, but that's obviously not the case.
