You wave, you think

Arm feels numb

Your mouth moves and words come out, but you can't hear

You can't see anyone

But you see colors

You press onward, leaving the chirop behind.

You pass more bodies and the occasional broken construct before reaching a grand chamber, lit only with the flame from your helm. Several dark passageways are visible at the edges of the room.

The air is strong with the smell of burnt flesh, and the floors littered with twisted, blackened shapes. These corpses aren't like the ones you saw before - the chirop weren't just killed, but incinerated to the bone.

No constructs visible in this room. Scratches on the floor lead to one of the tunnels, probably the one that would lead to Tabi.

You follow after her, in as a discreet manner as one can while wearing shiny red armor.

Leaving the office and the guarded area, you spot the end of a black and gold cape fluttering into the magic-insulated meeting room, where you and Vandolf experimented with runic magic.

The door closes with a soft click, though you don't hear the lock engaging.

It's just

fuzzy

Or is it dark

It's pretty damn dark for sure

Your eyes might be working fine and it's just dark

You feel like you're being carried

Kinda hard to tell, things are still a bit numb

Walking over to the door, you hold your ear close. No sounds.

You gently open the door and poke your head in.

It's dark, the lights being off. The stream of illumination from the partially opened door allows you to see the shadow sitting against the wall to the side of the room, glancing at you with an eerie pair of red eyes.

The eyes close, and you see Horoma slowly adjusting her position.

Something seems off about her silhouette.

You strain your vision

Two people

Guess they're not that strong

You step inside and close the door, letting the darkness set in again. Forming a light in your hand, your stomach lurches as you process what's in front of you.

The person in front of you, while sitting, appears to be noticeably taller than Horoma. Her skin is deathly pale and seems almost unhuman with long, spindly limbs and a head that sits just a bit too high above her shoulders.

The eyes open again, two red orbs, unnaturally bright, watching you.
