Ignoring the frightened looks Backsmasher, Faust and the elf are giving her, Allie begins to slowly, thoroughly and lovingly lick the blood off her hands and arms. Reaching for her red-stained shirt, she squeezes the fabric to get the precious liquid flowing again, then holds it over her mouth, hungrily letting each droplet drop down onto her tongue then ooze towards her throat.

You're pretty sure by now Allie is secretly some sort of cannibal vampire. It would probably be a good idea to hold her in direct sunlight to see if she sparkles.






Vargall searches the shaman's body. Rotten furs, moss, bones and bird skulls... The guy was a bloody penniless hippie!

Sighing in disgust, he at least takes the rugged, knobby staff the magician dropped. Maybe it's some sort of magic wand or something?

Vargall then drives over to where Bright is doing his best to pretend not to have anything to do with the Redneck Hunting Wagon. Huh, he's got some sort of devil-like broad with him? Cosplayers nowadays are a weird bunch, but at least she's pretty fit.

Vargall launches the staff at Faust, who parries it with his face. That ought've hurt!

...Or not, since he crits his damage resistance hit and barely notices the broomhandle that's just been flung at him. It seems to be... A big stick?





The baby... Is a baby. No matter how much he concentrates, Backsmasher cannot draw any more detailed conclusions from his observation, not even facial features or if it's alive or not.
...Wait, IS it a baby? It might be a dog. Or a rock, who knows? Man, you really need your fix right now. The rock waggles its branches at you. Who were you again? Probably not a baby.





Bright pretends to not know the rest of the group and keeps driving, hoping no one will call his name. He continues along the mud-covered, blood-covered, otter-covered road, trying not to get much dirt on his or Emi's clothes. Eventually, he reaches a dismal little town, partially abandoned and even eerie.

"Uhm. Honey, uh... Not to complain or anything, but I was expecting somewhere more, uh, romantic."




What will you do?

Backsmasher shows the cabbage to the elf lady. She looks relieved and takes it from his hands.

"Oh thank goodness, it's not damaged!"




Faust waves the staff around, accidentally whacking everyone in the car. Even the immaterial toaster seems bothered, which leads you to believe that the staff is also solid on the astral plane. A weak weapon focus, perhaps?




Clearly tired of being whacked in the head, Allie decides to take a short rest. It's been a long day!

Allie recovers from all Stun damage.




Bright attempt to knock on a few doors around town, but either all the buildings are empty or no one wants to answer. Deciding to make the most out of the afternoon sun, he heads out towards a nearby trail in the woods, in hopes of finding a mildly scenic spot.

Oh hey, this looks like it should do it. A reasonable-sized clearing in the trees, with a good view of the night sky, a small creek, some boulders... Seems pretty good! There is a conspicuous car-shaped crater on one end of it, but he decides to pay it no mind. The two of them dismount and begin setting up their picnic, with sleeping bags, folding chairs, junk food and a beer cooler.

Vargall decides to get a foot on the road and blow this popsicle stand. He shifts to first gear and begins to drive off.

You all consider your options. Getting back to Seattle is probably your ultimate goal, but how should you go about it? You could try and talk your way through customs and get into the city proper, or perhaps cut through the Barrens to reach Backsmasher's safehouse?
