"That goes beyond being 'serious' about this. Why are you willing to go so far to have a child with a Daeli's ability?"

A goal that can never be reached, but your attempts still lead you to something amazing. A child with my family's kinetics and the Daeli's Captivate, she will be the mother of a new generation of powerful mages, one that isn't blinded by some fanatical religion."________________________________________ Amazigh wrote: "Yeah, AM and some bits from drake cores."

Tortoises, maybe? Bunch of 'em in the mountains to the north."

If you still wish to have my help with preparations for your mission, I will be glad to offer a few magic tips and pieces of equipment in exchange for the time you lent me."

*Sigh* "The fact that I'm even still considering this is terribly unusual you know. Normally I would've already turned you down in a huff and been working on my kinetics by now. Then you just had to go and offer your... your everything. The wealth is extremely convincing, but also it's lot easier to turn down Politics than it is a personal dream. ... Hell. Alright, look. Quite frankly, I don't even know for sure I have Daeli blood. I've heard as such from Karina, and I see no reason she would lie, but I also can't use Captivate right now. Which might also impede your plan, not quite sure how it all works. Regardless, before I have any sort of answer for you, I want to confirm that much, that I actually have and can use this skill."

A smile spreads across her face. Adele: "Very well."She sets her cup on the table and stands up. Adele: "Let us unlock your potential. Regardless of your decision, this will be part of my repayment."

"Alright. Do you have a training room or yard then? I doubt it will be bad, but I wouldn't want to feel out exotic magic near the fine teacups." > Stand as well, stretch a bit. Realize my robe is still in tatters. "And, uh, perhaps a new robe."

Realize my robe is still in tatters. "And, uh, perhaps a new robe." Adele: "We can practice in the back yard. Sam, can you fetch him a new robe? One of the durable ones."Sam: "Yes ma'am."You follow Adele as she leads you to the mansion's back door, where you can see her expansive back yard is littered with spots of fresh dirt. The two of you step out on to the well-maintained grass, moving a good distance away from the mansion. The maid soon exists as well, bringing you a new black robe. It seems like it's made out of AM, but feels like real cloth. Adele: "Hrm. Do you feel like you have any, bumps, in your mind? Anything that feels like it's obstructing your memory of something?"

Re: Ad Infidium (Roll 300)
"Well, 10 days ago I woke up in a field with no memories at all. A few days ago I managed to remember a bit of my childhood, parents included. Up until then it all just felt like uniform... emptiness. But now there's... describing it is hard. Like a hole was torn in a thick curtain covering everything. And now that there's something there to see, I can sort of... make out the rest of the curtain. The 'shape' of what it's covering."

It sounds like you were involved in something major for that sort of memory obstruction to happen.
Well, I was going to say that discovering your magic abilities is like trying to feel around for something in your mind, something unused. A lost memory, a forgotten skill, something like that. It, sounds like you have a lot of that right now, bringing back your memories could help you relearn the abilities you've forgotten, or are unaware of."________________________________________ CrazyMLC wrote: What a day.
