You perform another Possession Break, this time separating what you believe is the Schal's spirit from its location in the body's torso.

It works, and like with the previous spirit, you bind it, this time on your knife.

The body stops moving.

All of his actions so far have caused events to occur that benefit the other force. The release of Lucida sparked further tensions between Vranhal and the Second, and Vranhal lost most of its spotters that are vital for their snipers.

It's a short operation, over in a few minutes, and you feel your mind is your own again.

You don't really feel that much different, but maybe that just means the safety mechanisms are nice enough to not screw you over when you're not doing anything wrong.

Checking your knife and shard with your Spirit Vision, you see that the spirits are still attached, while the corpse seems lifeless and spiritless.

You envelope them all in a strong null field, and the energy barrier in front of you immediately dies, along with the chirop's flame jet that she was using to cut the door.

The team looks at you in panic, slowly backing away, weapons at the ready, but they don't look like they want to fight.

Not when their magic just shut off and you're in a hulking suit of witch armor.
