Aandern: "In several ancient books of Caelum, there is a demon that is referred to as 'ad infidium mulier', which supposedly translates roughly to 'the faithless woman' or 'the treacherous woman', often shortened to 'ad infidium', 'the faithless' or 'the treacherous'. Further translations of Caelum resulted in alterations in the name, 'Infidi' being a popular variation. It is the primary antagonist in Caelum belief, inciting the seven curses around the world.

The demon shares the same basic imagery as the First Witch - a human-like figure in a dress, and a greatsword-like object. When the First Witch appeared after the Corruption, every person of Caelum thought the witch was the complete manifestation of The Devil."

Guard 1: "Most of the city's occupants have been evacuated to the shelters to the north-east, in the mountains, though there are a few handful left that chose to stay. You're free to search the city for your friend, but be warned that looting will not be tolerated."

She gives a nod and you take careful swings at her, being sure to not put too much force or momentum behind the attacks.

Tuhota starts off with dodging and awkwardly pushing your hammer away with the saber, but after a few minutes of practice, she seems to have down a parry-evade combo going.

In the background, you can hear the occasional gunshots from Miimas, and flashes of light over a hill some distance away.

Tuhota: "I think I'm getting it! Okay, let's try a practice fight!"

You head towards the center of the city, looking for something that resembles a guest house.

Well, that could be almost any of these houses. Most of the ones close to the center of the city are built out of smooth, quality stone or fine brick with small gardens and metal fencing.

Perhaps you need more of a description.

"Literally the devil.
Fantastic.
Somehow, I don't think that Infidium and Ensi having such a striking resemblance is coincidence. Lots of lost history, God only knows what happened back then.
...Hell on earth, the Leviathan may be on the same side as the dragon and the witches. If it can survive a Leviathan's beating, let alone all of them combined... This is bad.
Thank you Aandern, Poker. I owe you both, big time. I've got to get back to Vranhal now, stay safe out here."
> Head out, move towards eastern edge of town.
"Andrew, we're going back to Vran, fast. Monk, Cupe, I can't really tell you what to do, this is probably more dangerous than I've any right to ask you to get into. There's still a chance I'm just being overly cautious and paranoid, and we don't have a literal demon god on our hands."

Your party leaves Aandern's shack mansion, heading towards the eastern edge of town.

Aucupe: "Heroes don't give up!"

Monk: "S'not like anyone's gonna miss me if I'm gone, and I don't exactly have anything better to do. Might as well shoot for Heroism."

You look for a guard nearby, which isn't too hard.

Guard: "There are several guest houses around here, some are right around us even.

I just confirmed over telepathy that you are indeed with Kyeltziv. I don't have a key to the house he's staying in, though. You'll have to meet up with the Hospitality Committee for a place."

You leave the guards and move closer to the center of the city.

Like they said, it's pretty much abandoned. Only the occasional team of guards patrolling, and the very rare civilian that decided to stay behind. No sign of Tabi.

Andrew hops on your back like last while Aucupe rides with Monk.

Monk: "Which way are we going?"

You prepare a defensive stance and Tuhota comes at you in a somewhat telegraphed manner, lunging purposely sluggishly which you evade with ease. She follows up with a quick step back, possibly to avoid a counter attack, and then performs a somewhat exaggerated diagonal slash, you doing a hybrid parry-dodge to evade.

I can deploy my children if you wish, and they can aid in searching."

Andrew, how sturdy were you on that last run? Think you can handle twice as fast?"

"Time is short."

Explosions kick up dust and bits of ground, and the air around you ripples as several black armored knights step out of the spatial rifts.

These aren't like the one you've seen before - they're taller, about two feet higher than you. Almost like the full form of Stahlnacht, but they each have their own unique features - a different helm design, a different cape, lighter or heavier armor. Five in all.

They quickly sprint off in separate directions, kicking up debris from kinetic-enhanced movements, disappearing into the twists and turns of the city.

You head to the east through the city, travelling on the main road until you reach the edge.

The area looks like a small village just a bit outside of the main city, with several cottages and other buildings, and the mansion.

Walking up to the gate that leads to the mansion, you see hedge-walls behind it that separate sections of the garden lawn.

A well-dressed man sits in a gazebo by the gate.

Well-Dressed Man: "Welcome! Might I be of assistance to you?"

You go for a large swing at Tuhota, and she steps back just far enough for your hammer to miss her by a nose. The moment your weapon is out of the way, she flings herself forward while you use your momentum to throw yourself into a shoulder charge.

The two of you end up colliding, and while you manage to stay on your feet, Tuhota is wrapping herself around your arm and body.

Tuhota: "Omnomnom."
