We thought you would want to know about what might end up heading this way. There is a rampaging leviathan loose just east of Teleiat - it's fighting some kind of corrupted construct and the Teleiat military, inflicting huge casualties. The city is being evacuated. Magusalto too. It's probably a good idea to have some guards airborne on the lookout for that thing if it heads this way. Luuttiim can't survive a monster of that magnitude; the population will have to flee to Nullam or further if it decides to turn in our direction. I assume the forest is too dangerous to be passable.

My friend and I are trying to get to Nullam to convey the news there. Possibly also to take shelter until the leviathan can be brought down or leaves the region."

It doesn’t seem like the ghost is one of the people in charge. It eats with the other girls from what you can tell, and has experiments performed it as well. Other than that, you’re not sure. The only way to tell where it is is by seeing other people react to it, which isn’t often enough to get much detail.

The dream shifts - a medical ward. There are only two people inside, Horoma and the man who conducts the experiments. Horoma is lying on one of the many sterile-white beds, and taller than you expected, somewhere in her teen years. The man is beside the bed, tending to her fresh wounds, and the two of them talk casually, though you’re not sure what about.

Before you can move or cast Fast Forward, the three figures vanish in a dim blink of light. You force yourself and Lucida armor to evade the onslaught of near-instant sword swings.

Haste. You should’ve used Haste.

With all the attacks coming at once, you’re unable to keep up your evasion and a majority of the hits land, the air ringing out deafening loud from the impact of artificial matter striking temporary matter.

You can feel that Lucida’s armor is critically low.

Lucida: ”Alright now’s not the time to be playing diplomat! Haul it and kick some ass!”

A momentary pause, along with the light of the rising sun, reveals your enemies - three girls, perhaps young women, in shining silvery armor. Only their eyes are visible under the shade of the helm, which resembles a seahorse. The panels are flat-faced rather than the traditional curves in hand-forged armor, and you can tell that it’s AM.

More scenes flash in front of you, other girls being taken care of in a gentle manner.

Horoma seems to be treated differently, though. While the man only speaks a few words to the other girls, he spends minutes to occasionally an hour conversing with Horoma, well after her injuries have been tended to. She would listen with a great deal of focus, scowling, smiling, laughing.


A mechanical sound wakes you from your dreams, and you open your eyes to see your door being slowly pushed open. Tuhota is standing in the doorframe.

Tuhota: ”It’s morning. Can we eat, now?”

The faint sunlight streaming through the windows signal that it is, indeed, morning.

The three of you soon reach Luttiim. It’s a smaller place than Teleiat, lacking in grand towers and more densely packed buildings. The streets are empty and void of any lighting, but the rising sun gently illuminates the streets enough to see.

Rauha: ”A bit further, perhaps. Maybe Nullam.”

Kura: ”I was thinking play it safe and just head all the way to Uniof.”

Rauha: ”Makes sense. The further, the better.”
