Andrew pulls out a map, giving it a look over.

Aucupe: ”Uuuuuh the forest is dangerous. It would take longer going through and fighting things. It would be faster to just go to Nullam and then Luttiim.”

Lucida: Doesn’t look like it’d be that much longer, but I’m fine with chopping through some beasts.

Vandolf runs off as you move to a position that will be well out of Tabi’s way.

The rune mage gives a flick of her hand and a paper tag zips forward and flies down into the hole, resulting in a massive explosion that sprays dirt and rocks high into the air. Another tag follows soon after, and then another, a barrage of titanic forces boring down into whatever lies below.

Once all of the floating tags have been cast, she waits. For a moment, nothing moves, until the ground trembles again and starts shifting where the hole is, rising.

Tabi: ”Whatever it is, it’s built pretty tough.”

Waving her hand, a swarm of paper tags fly out of the binder, hundreds of runic tags circling Tabi.

Tabi: ”You don’t think this’ll be overkill, do you? This is all I’ve got left for offense.”

Bits of rock and dirt are still raining down from the last barrage.

"Aight then."

You head back into your room and close the door, sitting down and then using your Agility Flow. It seems to make a bit of your spirit flare up more, making it easier to feel.

With what you know of binding, you try to make the bind of your spirit to your toe stronger. It’s a bit difficult, trying to concentrate on something you’re not used to feeling, but you think you might’ve increased the possession by a teensy bit maybe.

Suddenly the door to your room flies open, where Tuhota is standing there excitedly holding up a wooden box.

Tuhota: ”Hey Kyeltziv! Wanna play a game? It’s called ‘The Game of Stuff,’ there are a bunch of cards an-”

Horoma: ”Hey moron, you can’t just go bursting into someone’s room without knocking.”

The doll is standing in the hallway, now wearing a simple black dress.

You run off towards the direction of Teleiat, nearly tripping from surprise when a barrage of titanic explosions sound off behind you.

Moving as fast as your legs can carry you, Teleiat soon appears over the trees of the forest, and you make it to the city bridge raving about witches and towers and giant beasts climbing out of where the tower was.

And if we're supposed to be upholding Lucida's... reputation, we probably shouldn't be walking along public roads too much.

"If that thing took down a Leviathan, it must have extended endurance - possibly regeneration ability coupled to regenerating mana crystals. It may have been storing mana since they buried the damn machine.

I don't know if you'll destroy it in one salvo; Tabi, I would suggest not to expend all your runes now. Who knows when you'll be able to replace the whole binder? We need backup."

The paper slips fly back into her binder and she closes it up, slinging it to her back and detaching the brick from her wrist.

Tabi: ”C’mon, let’s get moving to Magusalto. Wait, are those soldiers from Teleiat already?”

The sun is setting now, but you can see large numbers of people moving towards the tower from the path to Teleiat.

The ground continues to shake, and you can see the beginning of some grey artificial material pushing itself up and out of the earth.

The doll heads downstairs as Miimas comes up.

Tuhota: ”Miimas?”

Miimas: ”It’ll be more fun if we all play at once, I’ll join in when Kyeltziv’s ready.”

The westerner heads into her room while Tuhota sits herself down in your doorway, setting down the game box and looking at you with a discouraged face.

Well, you can work on your spirity stuff with her sitting there.

Activating Power Flow, your spirit doesn’t seem any different from using Agility Flow - the same areas are easier to detect.

You try wiggling one of your spirit “toes,” the one that you didn’t try to bind. Giving it a nice good wiggle, you can definitely “move” it, but it doesn’t seem like it’s detaching in any way, or “flexing”.

She runs over to the grass and flips open a trapdoor.

Guard: ”Code grey! Code grey!”

Chirop soldiers (including mages) rush out of the ground, and in a building at the edge of the city you can see more rushing out, shouting orders and affirmatives and rushing out of the city and towards the watchtower.

Well, that was certainly a result.
